This motion graphic video highlights the pivotal role of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in Atlanta during the 1960s Civil Rights Movement. It honors key figures and significant moments, aiming to educate and inspire viewers about this important chapter in history. Designed for digital display at Wells Fargo locations across Atlanta, the piece serves as both a tribute and an educational resource.
As both Art Director and Animator, I developed the visual concept and cohesive narrative through a detailed storyboard, combining bold graphics with archival black-and-white photographs and modern polarized treatments of historic images. Using After Effects, I brought this storyboard to life, creating dynamic motion graphics that enhance storytelling and engage viewers.
