The Navajo Nation Spotlight explores four themes: Community, Traditions (Navajo cultural heritage), Heroes (Navajo Code Talkers), and Mother Earth, highlighting sacred Navajo places. The video also features translations of key content in the Diné language.
As Art Director and Animator, I developed a visual concept that incorporates symbols of Navajo culture, translating landscape colors and traditional patterns into a cohesive look. Using archival footage and photographs from a local photographer, I created a visual narrative that reflects the community’s spirit and identity.
